Apple is rivaling Emoji and Snapchat's Bitmoji
Apple yesterday introduced a new update to Animoji at WWDC 2018 event. This new update, which stands out under the name Memoji, brings to mind Snapchat's Bitmoji at first. Memoji enables animogies to gain a more personal and personalized appearance, at the same time it can also detect facial expressions.
It is also possible to use Memoji avatars created in Messaging applications just like Animoji. Memojiler also can take the place of the faces of the users at the front camera. It is quite relevant to try to address Apple's users with a product similar to Snapchat's Bitmoji. At this point, it is also worth noting that this technology giant produces its own product instead of taking Bitmoji.
Memoji, which currently only recognizes hundreds of expressions and has a "Language Detector", has been upgraded 9 months ago. we are not sure if we can compete with Bitmoji meeting reality. But for now Apple users will definitely want to use Memoji. At this point, Snapchat's utilization rate may be too low for Apple, a mobile device maker as a social network. Moreover, Snapchat, which stands out in terms of increased reality, has opened its doors to software developers. However, with ARKit, Apple is behind the support of long-standing software developers.
