We have Zenfone 4, which we can call "middle class flagship". What do you offer? What is the price?
Asus Zenfone 4 Design
Asus Zenfone 4 adopts a design that takes into consideration the basics of the previous model. Asus leaves the thick case frames in the Zenfone 2 , again with a 7.7 mm-thick phone. The length of the phone is 155 mm. Again the front and back completely glass material is used. The screen-to-body ratio of the phone is almost the same as the previous model; 71 percent . The frames at the top and bottom of the screen do not keep track of trends, but do not prevent the phone from appearing stylishly in design.
In contrast to the Zenfone 3, the fingerprint sensor on the back was brought under the display, and the rear camera was switched to a dual camera instead of a single camera.
Zenfone 4, which is quite comfortable with its dimensions and rounded edges, is a bit slippery because of the glass on the back. So be careful, let's say you do not use the phone without protection. Although Asus states that it protects the glass material structure with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 , these protections still have a limit and you know that limit is not very high. No matter how careful you are, Gorilla Glass is not very reliable against cracking and scratching. Especially if you carry your phone in the same pocket with your keys or your bad money, you will see that you are drawn in a short time.
If we look around the phone quickly, we see the power and volume buttons on the right side, the microSD card drawer with SIM card on the left, USB-C and headphone on the bottom.

Display and operating system
The screen of the Zenfone 4 carries the traces of the predecessor model to a great extent in quality and quantity. Again, my screen is a 5.5 inch screen and the resolution is still Full HD. The panel has changed. This time we have an IPS LCD panel. The 401 ppi pixel density is also the same, with a 16: 9 aspect ratio.
In general, we can say that the image level is good. At full HD resolution level, the LCD screen gets good points for image clarity. At the same time, with a brightness rate of around 495 candelas per meter, the screen does not make the screen difficult to see when used externally.
When the phone is turned on for the first time, the screen may not produce appropriate colors. Some users have very colorful colors, others can be pale. Fortunately you can adjust this. You can adjust the color temperature, blue light settings, and overshoot from the Asus Splendid screen, which you can access from Display settings .
So let's come to the phone's operating system. In Zenfone 4 we see the Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system. But Oreo is getting updates. There is no problem with this. As an interface, the Zen interface we see in the predecessor models is accompanied by us.
Zenfone 4 also has a large number of applications. In addition to storage software like WebStorage, some of the software such as the Asus Splendid display software we mentioned earlier can work. You can never use some. The choice here is of course, but those who are considering buying this phone should definitely use AudioWizard sound management software. Because the voice features of the phone are impressive with this software. The use of DTS support and stereo speakers makes Zenfone 4 a good place for movie and music lovers in the audio experience.
Apart from that, the interface does not make any difference from its predecessor models. Asus adds a number of new shortcuts to the top bar, allowing you to log in to the Manage Input section, which is also a different on-screen menu when you pull the screen down . From here you can change the design of the phone and browse your personalization options.

Technical staff and performance
Zenfone 4 is a phone in the middle segment. This category brings the proper attributes, but it is innovative. The phone carrying the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 as the processor owns the Adreno 508 graphics unit. With 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage and up to 256 GB of space, the phone has a slightly larger battery area than its predecessor. After reaching a capacity of 3300 mAh , what kind of performance is the battery, and we will look at it and other performance results shortly.
Asus has not brought Zenfone 4 apart from its predecessor in terms of its technical staff, but it has not made any changes. One of the innovations that comes to mind is Bluetooth 5 support. On the other hand, 802.11ac Wi-Fi support is also available on the phone, just like its predecessor . However, NFC is still not available in the model. Another innovation is the double camera support that we will talk about in the camera step.
Let's talk about the performance of the phone until we get there and consider the results. Obviously, the Asus Zenfone 4 is not a phone for tough 3D games or for those looking for high-end performance. Already the phone is addressing the middle segment. At this point, relatively low-graphics games and moderate processing performance are being promoted. The general usage data of the phone and the test results are also reflected in this light.
Now let's share with you the results we got with Zenfone 4 and compare charts.
You can see the test results and comparison charts we received with Asus Zenfone 4 right above in our video.

Battery performance
If you need to put a separate bracket on battery performance of Zenfone 4, you have to say that the battery performance of Zenfone 4 is good. We can say that on the phone, we get 11 hours and 3 minutes of results on the LTE online test .
In a mixed-use scenario, you get a day off. In this scenario we frequently used WhatsApp and other social media applications, responded via email, and of course internet roaming and phone calls were of course included in this scenario. In more demanding uses, the battery is of course effective. When we played a Full HD video in the scenario where we set the brightness to 50 percent, we lost about 10 percent of the battery time per hour . If you change the video to play, then let's also say you will lose 20 percent at the beginning of the hour .
Zenfone 4 is experiencing a loss of about 1 to 4 per cent if you do not put on the night coffe. The battery lasts for about 2 hours and 28 minutes . Meanwhile, there is a fast charge on the phone, but no wireless charging support.

Camera
Asus Zenfone 4 is also becoming a model for the dual-camera smartphone caravan. The phone, which performed well with the 12 MP and 8 MP cameras on the back, got a better picture performance than the photo performance. Thanks to its dual-lens system, you can also shoot wide-angle photographs with the Sony IMX362 image sensor on the rear camera .
Like every Zenfone model , Asus continues to claim that the cameras take very successful photographs in low light, but we saw clearly that this was not met in the shootings we made. We had already encountered a similar scenario in Salaf Models, so we are not surprised by that. In custom setups and scenarios, yes, the camera can produce brilliant results in night shots, but in terms of shooting capabilities in automatic mode, the phone does not meet this expectation. In addition, I will add HDR performance. But apart from these two, we did not have any problems in daylight shooting in good lighting conditions.

In addition to the optical image stabilizer, the camera also includes a phase-sensitive autofocus system. I also have to say that the rear camera has double-tone dual LED flash . Finally, let's also say that the front camera has an 8 MP lens and that the phone uses the screen illumination as a flash even though it is not a physical flash, so let's go to the result section.
