Asus Zenfone Live Android Mobile Phone review

Content: Asus Zenfone Live review, features, photos, images, sizes and comparison.

Focus: Sharing of the basic features, Asus Zenfone Live review phone view, photo quality, processor speed.

Asus Zenfone Live's Screen

Zenfone Live has a 5-inch IPS LCD screen with HD (720p) resolution. The best thing about this display is that it can be very bright outdoors. Even in bright lighting conditions, the image on the screen can easily be seen from difficult angles. Other than that, the screen does not produce very good colors, and it appears a bit dull compared to competing smartphones in the category.

Asus Zenfone Live's Design

Zenfone Live has a typical iPhone-like design and it's something that has already been seen on many other phones lately. It has a very handy and lightweight design that looks great for one-handed use.

Unlike many telephones in this class, Asus has a plastic structure with a metallic coating on top. The edges are made of solid metal and designed to have a rounded surface for a better grip.

At the front there is a 2.5D curved glass to give him a smooth feel. In this model Asus placed the capacitive navigation keys in the lower frame. Unfortunately, however, they are not backlit.

The sound and power / lock key on the right side of the phone looks like it offers touch feedback. To open the camera from the lock screen, you need to tap the volume key twice quickly. The SIM tray is on the left, the 3.5 mm audio jack on top, the speaker grill and the micro USB port are visible under the phone. The best design aspects of Zenfone Live are undoubtedly the elegance and lightness.

Asus Zenfone Live's Software

Asus Zenfone Live works in Android 6.0 Marshmallow with its own Zen UI interface. To be honest, we are not a fan of special interfaces. However, many OEMs began to use their proprietary software after they realized the consumer's tendency towards lighter software.

Asus has worked a lot on optimization, but the icon pack, the quick settings panel and the settings menu are still flashy. Only a few of them come preloaded with a few applications that come in handy.

The sad part is that you can not remove these applications, but instead you can disable them. This user interface is a good choice for you if you prefer personalization.

Asus Zenfone Live's Performance

Zenfone Live offers you some very impressive pieces of hardware. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor combined with 2 GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage and expandable with microSD up to 128GB ... The user-friendly part of the phone with 16GB internal storage is only 10GB.

The remaining part has already been filled in by the system. Snapdragon 400 is a processor from the past that will cause some questions in your head. However, this processor can easily perform basic tasks such as searching, messaging, listening to music, or watching videos.

If you are planning to play a game on this smartphone, you should think twice. Long-lived, this phone is not for aggressive users.

Asus Zenfone Live's Sound

Zenfone Live comes with a mono speaker. The speaker grille has a very loud volume but with a slight deterioration in high tones. It looks like other phones at this price.

It comes with a pair of MEMS microphones to send video calls and clearer audio during live broadcasts as well.

Asus Zenfone Live's Camera

82 degree wide angle and f / 2.0 aperture with LED flash, 5MP front camera with auto focus and 13MP rear camera ...

The rear camera captures good details and colors in natural light. We noticed that you did a lot of software processing to ensure that your images look their best. But sometimes this software is failing.

When we went to the interiors, the camera interface showed some delay due to heavy camera software. Using this phone to click on a moving object is a situation that we will not recommend at any light condition.

Shutter delay makes it difficult to shoot a clear shot. You will also see distorted images in dimly lit shots when you zoom in on photos. The front camera still performs an average.

A 5MP camera has no special feature. The camera software on Zenfone Live is very similar to what we saw in previous Zenfone.

Asus Zenfone Live's Battery Life

ZenFone Live is supported with a 2650 mAh battery. It's enough to use to search the internet, surf, social media and control music. Obviously, we can call it a convenient device to use as a secondary phone.

For basic tasks this phone can last up to 7-8 hours. However, if you are an aggressive user and you have a habit of constantly dealing with your phone, this model can be kept open for about 4-5 hours.

We really liked the performance of the pending battery because the battery remained almost the same even when it was not used for hours. It took about 2 hours and 15 minutes for our phone to charge between 0-100 during our test.
